Looking for the best Chicago-style pizza? Double D’s is the place to go! When they say deep dish, they mean it. The graffiti decor really sets the mood for an old-school pizza parlour, complete with wooden stools, and traditional hand lettering style. Be prepared to get your hands dirty!
Baro

Formerly known as Valdez, Baro is a creative Latin hotspot. Their diverse menu serves dishes & cocktails in a restored 3-storey building with a diverse atmosphere. The venue almost feels like a part rainforest and part sophisticated night spot. Bonus points: if provided with a secret password you can dance the night away in their private lounge, Escobar.
La Banane

La Banane is a new French restaurant concept from chef Brandon Olsen. For the lovers of French cuisine, you’d be hard-pressed to find anything better or more interesting than La Banane, a space where the past and future mingle. A classic bar, minimal decor, and crystal silverware are mixed with striking colour and contemporary art.
Bodega Henriette

Stop by Bodega Henriette for an espresso or a croissant on your commute to work. A neat little find tucked away in the Upper Beaches, Bodega Henriette offers a combination of services from a bar, cafe, and surprisingly a convenience store wrapped into one. A dish to try is a braised lamb shank with pomegranate infused quinoa, charred tomato, mache salad and sumac mint yogurt. Whether you’re a busy parent looking for a date-night spot or just student looking to unwind, Bodega Henriette is the place!
DOMA

Unlike any other, Doma is a French-inspired Korean restaurant located in the heart of Little Italy. Every dish is created using authentic Korean ingredients and fresh, local produce. Their menu, changes monthly, keeping two to three popular dishes from the previous month. Given the level of skill and attention required to create every dish, the $65 tasting menu is an incredible deal and makes for a truly memorable meal. It is no surprise that DOMA has been considered one of Toronto’s Top new restaurants.
