It’s always an honour to be recognized for the work we do, but some accolades carry a deeper meaning. As a woman founder, this is one of them.
Faulhaber was recently named one of The Globe and Mail’s Top Growing Women-Led Companies for 2026, following 92 per cent revenue growth over the past three years.
It’s a recognition I’m incredibly proud of. Not just because of the number, but because of what it represents.
It comes at a meaningful moment for us. We’re celebrating 25 years as an agency, and when I look back, I see both how much has changed, and how much has stayed the same. We’ve grown, evolved and expanded what we do, but the core of the business has remained consistent.
I founded Faulhaber in 2001 at 26 years old, with a very simple concept at its core: I sell ideas.
That belief still underpins how we work today. It’s reflected in the way we bring together bold thinking, remarkable people and strong partnerships to help brands grow in ways that are measurable and meaningful.
Over time, the role of communications has shifted, and we’ve evolved alongside it. Today, through our PoweredPR® model and the integration of experiential marketing through our fxm division, we think about our work much more holistically. It’s no longer about individual tactics, but about how everything connects, earned, digital and real-world experiences, to drive real business outcomes.
A big part of our recent growth comes down to that mindset: staying open, staying curious and being willing to rethink how the work gets done. That sense of curiosity is something we talk about often at Faulhaber, and something Lexi Pathak, our President and Partner, has helped embed into how we work. Growth doesn’t come from standing still; it comes from constantly asking what’s next and building toward it.
What hasn’t changed – and what continues to matter most – is how we work.
The work we do is built on trust. It’s built on long-standing partnerships with clients, collaborators and our broader network. It’s built on a team that shows up for each other and for the work, every day.
As Megan Taylor, our SVP and Associate Partner, puts it: the most impactful work happens when strategy, creativity and collaboration come together. That’s something we see play out across everything we do.
Being recognized as a women-led company also carries weight for me personally. From the beginning, Faulhaber has been shaped by strong, ambitious women, both within our team and among the clients and partners we work with every day. To be building alongside so many women who are leading brands, shaping culture and driving business forward makes this recognition even more meaningful.
As I look ahead, I’m less focused on milestones and more focused on momentum.
There’s still so much opportunity in how communications can drive growth. There’s still more to build, more to evolve, and more to explore.
But 25 years in, I remain confident in the same belief that started it all: when you bring the right ideas to life, with the right people around you, meaningful growth follows.
